Our Story

Bell Business Services was started in 1980 by Lynne Bell. After years of working in accounts departments in several industries Lynne started to work from home to accommodate her growing family. Her reputation and the business quickly grew. Her husband joined the business and became the payroll clerk, while years later her son and his wife would also become partners and secure Bell Business Services future and continued growth for another generation. 

We are a family run business that has been serving the local business community for over 30 years. We put a wealth of experience, knowledge, and ability at your disposal. 

We are not typical accountants. We're friendly and informal, and our clients appreciate the personal touch you only get with a family business. Although we primarily served businesses in the Birmingham area, we now have clients of all sizes all over the UK. 

Our reputation is built on doing everything possible to save you time and money. We add as much value and convenience to your bookkeeping and accounts as possible.  

Our client base varies from sole traders to multi-million pound companies. Our clients have grown with us over the years and we like to think this is partly a reflection on the services and advice they receive from us.
